In this case I was referefing to using Javascript in &lt;strong&gt;Adode After Effects&lt;/strong&gt; which has a &lt;strong&gt;file browser&lt;/strong&gt; built into the program, if you were using the javascript in a web app you'd probably want to use a form submit in conjunction with a server if you needed additional information about the photo.
